Pebble Flex Playground Surfacing in Nevada
Play Surface Coatings, a Premier Playground Surface Installation Company in Las Vegas NV, offers Pebble Flex which is a UV light stable, chlorine resistant, aliphatic system for all types of recreational needs. Pebble Flex’s spherical shape allows for a smother finish and more compact surface. Pebble Flex is great for all types of recreational surfacing. The variety of vibrant colors and a true white, along with its slip resistant nature allows for a safer, cooler deck resurfacing product. This poured in place surfacing is also perfect for playgrounds and provides a seamless, colorful, soft and accessible play surface that can be easily cleaned and sanitized. We offer a wide selection of colors and can incorporate patterns and designs as well. Plus, because Pebble Flex is made up of thermoplastic aliphatic spheres along with a patented aliphatic binder, the vivid colors that are installed stay long and beautiful without the ambering effects of aromatic binders, or the fading and bleaching you may find with EPDM based products.
Play Surface Coatings Pebble Flex surface is applied at 3/8th inch thickness over an existing surface such as a pool deck. When used as a playground surface, the surface is made up of 2 layers. Each layer is mixed onsite at various thicknesses to meet the Critical Fall Heights (CFH) of the play equipment installed. The first layer is made up of an SBR cushion layer. The second layer is the Pebble Flex topcoat; this is applied at 3/8 inch and is known as the wear course. The aliphatic binder helps protect the surface from the harmful effects of UV light and allows for greater visual appeal. In addition, mixing of colors is always encouraged to help tie in the colors of the equipment and surrounding features.
Pebble Flex – is engineered to meet all ASTM standards (American Society for Testing and Materials) and CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission) guidelines. Cleaning can be performed using a leaf blower. A mild detergent can also be used for spills and stains. A chlorinated disinfectant can be used for sanitizing.
